The 42nd IASP International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation World Conference, held this year in China, has been completed!

Our General Manager Dr. Aylin Tümay and our Project & Business Development Manager Dr. Melih Koçyiğit closely followed the conference on behalf of our institution.

With the participation of 900 attendees from 97 countries, during the four-day conference held between September 16–19, global experts provided in-depth knowledge on the following topics:

• The interaction between city, industry, and innovation

• Global trends and future tendencies

• The importance of science parks in the development of technology, industry, and economy

• Networking in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem

• Expanded Innovation Areas

We learned about the impacts of successful case studies and the outcomes of implemented projects.

On the other hand, during the technical visits we attended, we conducted examinations of science parks and research infrastructures in the Beijing region.

Throughout the conference, where we also had the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings with the architects of successful practices and international actors of the innovation ecosystem, Antalya OSB Technopark laid the groundwork for new collaborations aimed at enhancing our region’s innovation and entrepreneurship capacity. We also strengthened our relations with IASP member technoparks from our country.

In the next phase, we are delighted to share with all our excitement that, starting today, we have begun to diversify and develop our existing international collaborations in order to transform them into benefits for our entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs in our region!

As a new member joining the IASP family this year, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization of this magnificent event, especially President Lena Miranda, CEO Ebba Lund, as well as the entire IASP team, and the host Z Park and Beijing Municipality officials. We also congratulate Salvatore Majorana, who will take over the presidency in the new term.
